How the departure decision works
Your deposit holds a place in the queue. The balance and final departure decision follow a short, defined sequence.
From queue to a
confirmed departure
Deposit holds queue position
The guest may withdraw the deposit on request until the T−120 cutoff. The deposit remains separate from the trip balance.
TST initiates the balance
At T−120, TST charges the stored Authorize.net payment profile. Sales tax is a separate dollar-per-guest line item.
Failed payment has a short cure
The guest has 24 hours or until T−97, whichever comes first. If not cured, the guest leaves that departure; the deposit remains in queue and is refundable on request.
T−73 is the vendor gate
If required vendors can accommodate, the trip proceeds. If they cannot, balance and collected tax return; the deposit preserves queue position and the cycle repeats.
The expedition proceeds through launch uncertainty.
A later scrub does not unwind the trip. If the access road reopens and conditions permit, Texas Space Tours expects to visit Starbase and the launch site; access is not guaranteed. A retarget may be held only when the new attempt is within five days after the original T0 and required vendors can accommodate.
Three moments, no surprises
Complete guest details and agreements first. Roommate and dietary preferences are collected during registration. You will see the deposit amount before payment.
Pay the refundable deposit on our secure payment page. Your place is reserved only after payment is verified.
At T−120, TST initiates the balance and applicable sales tax. At T−73, the vendor gate establishes GO or NO-GO. After GO, the expedition proceeds through launch uncertainty.
